The Soyuz LV with Meteor-M ¹2-2 satellite was rolled out to the launch pad at the Vostochny Cosmodrome

July 2, 2019

On July, 2, 2019, the Soyuz 2.1b LV with Meteor-M ¹2-2 satellite and 32 secondary payload spacecraft was rolled out to the launch pad.

The rocket transportation from the Assembly Integration and Test Building to the launch pad is carried out on the transport and installation unit by rail.

LV is transported through the Mobile Service Tower (MST), which is taken away from the launch pad at this moment. In the operating position MST rolls over the launch pad, which allows the engineers to prepare LV and space nose cone for the launch even in adverse climatic conditions.

After closing the MST folds, LV is completely inside the tower. Within three days the engineers will prepare LV for the launch.

The Soyuz 2.1b LV launch is scheduled on July 5, at 08:41:46 Moscow time.
