New CEO appointed at Glavkosmos on February 22
MOSCOW, February 25. - Natalia Lokteva has replaced Ilya Tarasenko as the Director General of Glavkosmos JSC (part of Roscosmos). Tarasenko resigned from his position, which he had held since September 2023. Natalia Lokteva signed a fixed-term contract, which will be valid until the appointment of a new Director General in accordance with established procedures.
Natalia Lokteva's professional qualification and business acumen is supported by over thirty years of experience working in the space industry, including the sphere of international space programs and projects. From 2018, she held senior positions in Glavkosmos, including her service as the First Deputy Director General of the enterprise.
The decision of the Board of Directors of Glavkosmos JSC to replace the CEO was based on the need to ensure that the company has a professional and qualified leader in place who can take balanced and responsible actions that are aligned with modern geopolitical and socio-economic circumstances.
