The Gorizont satellite of BSTU VOENMEKH successfully launched into orbit
Students of BSTU VOENMEKH completed the development and launch of the Gorizont satellite as part of the Space-Pi scientific and educational project of the Foundation for Assistance to Innovations. The CubeSat was created on the basis of the Geoscan 3U platform and is equipped with advanced technologies for space research. Among them are a system of deployable solar panels for analyzing their operation in space conditions, a module for testing MRAM microcircuits for radiation resistance, a three-axis satellite orientation unit, and a control system with a 4K camera for shooting the Earth's surface.

Five educational satellites on the Geoscan 3U platform were launched into orbit
On November 5, 2024, Russian educational nanosatellites on the Geoscan 3U platform were successfully launched from the Vostochny Cosmodrome. They became part of the Space-Pi program, aimed at developing space research among schoolchildren and students.

Russian CubeSat SIT-HSE launched into orbit from Vostochny Cosmodrome
On November 5, 2024, experimental satellites created as part of the Space-Pi; scientific and educational project, organized by the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises with the support of Roscosmos, were successfully launched from the Vostochny Cosmodrome. Among them is the SIT-HSE CubeSat, developed by the St. Petersburg University of Telecommunications (SPbSUT).

A record number of Russian satellites were launched into orbit simultaneously
The accompanying payload, consisting of 49 Russian, Russian-Chinese, Russian-Zimbabwean and two Iranian small spacecraft, was delivered to the target orbits and separated from the Fregat upper stage, which was launched today by the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle from the Vostochny Cosmodrome.
