Glavkosmos is an industrial partner of the educational project “ERASMUS+ Applied curricula in space exploration and intelligent robotic systems (APPLE)”.
BERLIN, March 21 – 22 – Glavkosmos’ experts took part in the conference devoted to the first meeting under the educational project named “ERASMUS+ Applied curricula in space exploration and intelligent robotic systems (APPLE)” and supervised by the European Commission.
The project aims at education and training at the EU and CIS universities of highly-skilled professionals for the space industry. In this project, Glavkosmos is an industrial partner giving its competence in adaptation, pre-launch preparation, and launching of small satellites.

At the meeting Glavkosmos’ experts shared their experience in launching small satellites of universities and commercial companies aboard Soyuz-2 / Fregat launch system, and told about plans to inject into orbit over 100 small satellites with new missions in 2017.
Glavkosmos’ experts will continue to support the project with relevant practical recommendations to the involved universities currently busy with design and development of small satellites, including CubeSats, which have recently become very popular.
