Glavkosmos presents the capacities of the Russian space industry in Malaysia
MOSCOW, July 5. – Director General of Glavkosmos JSC (part of Roscosmos) Dmitry Loskutov visited Malaysia on July 4-5 as part of a Roscosmos delegation led by Yuri Borisov, Head of State Space Corporation Roscosmos. During the meetings with representatives of Malaysian government agencies, ministries and authorities, the CEO of Glavkosmos presented promising areas of cooperation between the two countries in space exploration.
The Russian initiatives on advancing the cooperation in the Earth remote sensing services for agriculture, forestry and water management, cartography and monitoring of construction and infrastructure facilities were introduced to the Malaysian partners.
At a working meeting with colleagues from the Malaysian Space Agency, Dmitry Loskutov spoke about such areas of cooperation as satellite construction, launch services, building of ground space infrastructure and the development of Earth remote sensing services, all of which are of interest to the Malaysian side.
